How to Update an ArcGIS 10.x Concurrent Use License
Update Concurrent Use License:
- Click on the Windows Start button, and type ArcGIS Administrator into the search bar.
- Open the Administrator, and click on the Desktop folder icon in the lefthand panel.
- Select Advanced (ArcInfo) Concurrent Use.
- Under field "License Manager" select the "Change..." button.
- Input arcserver.mlml.calstate.edu
Note: You must be onsite at MLML to activate the Concurrent Use License. - Click OK.
- Input arcserver.mlml.calstate.edu
- Click Apply, then click OK.
Please Note:
You must be onsite to use the license server.
This means that the ArcGIS software itself will ONLY work if you are currently connected to an MLML network.
Repeated: If you are using a concurrent license, the ArcGIS software will not work offsite!
To communicate with the license server from offsite of MLML's network, you will need to connect remotely via the MLML VPN. Or you will have to acquire a single-use license, which must be specially requested via an iTicket.
