GoPro Gimbal (Karma Grip)

The GoPro Karma Grip is a stabilizer that makes sure that the shots you take using your GoPro are smooth and steady. You just simply attach the GoPro to the Karma Grip and start shooting. Follow instructions below for more information on how to use this equipment.

Attach GoPro to Karma Grip

  1. Locate the tab on your GoPro that opens to the USB and HDMI ports
  2. Pop open the tab as you see in the photo above
  3. Grip the tab tightly on either side with two fingers and pull straight out - the tab should come off the camera
  4. Open the Karma Grip harness where the GoPro will reside - it should open on the side opposite where it connects to the handle
  5. Insert GoPro so that the ports line up with connections on the Karma Grip
  6. Close harness & GoPro should be secure

Capture Using Karma Grip

  1. Power on Karma Grip with GoPro attached: Press the Power/Mode button
  2. Press the Power/Mode buttononce powered on to select the mode you'd like to capture in
  3. Press the Shutter button [O] to start and stop recording
  4. Press & hold the Power/Mode button to turn off the system

Adjust the Camera Angle

To capture an object above/below the horizon: 

  1. Hold down the Tilt Lock button (see image above)
  2. Move the handle up/down to desired position
  3. Release the button to lock the angle

To follow an object: 

  1. Double-click the Tilt Lock button (see image above)

To cancel either setting above: 

  1. Press the Tilt Lock button (see image above)
