Start your Windows Computer in Safe Mode

 

To start your Windows computer in Safe Mode, press the F8 key during boot, then select the desired safe mode option when prompted.

NOTE: To get the computer to boot into safe mode, you usually need to press the F8 key a few times during the first phase of the boot process, i.e. before the Windows logo appears.
