How to Use the Meeting Owl Pro

 

The

ConnectMeeting yourOwl Pro is a 3600 camera/microphone for video conferencing and remote instruction, it may be used with any classroom or personal computer, and is available for checkout at the IT Help Desk.

How to Use the Meeting Owl Pro:

  • Power on by pressing and holding the power button located on the back of the Owl.
  • Plug USB cable into the computer tobeing used. In larger rooms like the Think Tank, a MobileUSB-A Presentationto UnitUSB-C (MPU)

  2. Launch Zoom and select Meeting Owl for Video and Microphone.
  3. Place Owl on yourtabletop computerin andcenter waitof formeeting. The camera will automatically track the MPUperson toactively wake up.

Use a Mobile Presentation Unit for a Video Conference using Zoom
 
  1. Sign into zoom using SJSU or CSUMB username and password

  2. Open zoom interface and click New Meeting

  3. Click Participants → Invite → Room System tab, then click on the Call Out tab.  The screenshot below shows how inviting a room system looks
