Gaining Access to ArcGIS Pro (SJSU)

To gain access to Arc GISArcGIS Pro, please follow the steps outlined below: 

 

RequestingActivating accessyour toArcGIS Arc GIS online Account

1. First,Click youthis will needlink to submitbe an itickettaken to the MLMLArcGIS help desk for access to Arc GIS online:
   portal.
   • IncludeClick Sign yourin.
   name and
   • Click SJSU emailOkta.
   address
   • Sign in the ticket
2. Once this ticket is processed, an email will be sent towith your SJSU  emailTowerID addressnumber
   and
   • This email should be from the account "ArcGIS Notifications <notifications@arcgis.com>"
   • Follow the steps outlined in this email to set up your Arc GIS Online account 
   • *Please note: you have 14 days upon receiving this email to activate your account or the link will expire*
   password.

Downloading Arc GISArcGIS Pro 

1. Sign in to your ArcGIS Online account
2. At the top of the page, click your user name and click My settings settings.
3. On the My Settings page, click the Licenses tab tab.
4. Your user type, role, and assigned licenses are listed
5. Next to ArcGIS Pro, click Download Download.
6. AfterInstall downloadingthe software following these directions, but rather than using the concurrent use license, launch ArcGIS Pro and installingclick "Sign in with your organization's ArcGIS URL".
7. Enter sjsugis into the software,URL youbox nowand haveclick Continue.

8. Click SJSU Okta.
9. Sign in with your SJSU TowerID number and password again.
10. ArcGIS Pro will be activated and ready to Arc GIS Pro use.
